Brought this up once...damn it's good.
The raw stuff looks like this.
It looks like sliced up sausage. At first I looked at it and thought, "what a waste of good deer meat".
Then I cooked some up. I was wrong, soooo wrong.

It don't shrink much, lays flat, goes great on a biscuit with some cheese and egg, and is delicious.

At first I thought, "Wow, 4 views and 4 replies to an AB thread, must be a good one."

Never heard of anybody making bacon from ground venison. Must taste better than it looks AB

I was highly skeptical but after eating some decided not to feed it to the dogs. For cooking in the blind it's ideal. Quick and easy.
