So last wednesday I went salmon fishing on the river. I use flat fish for salmon and use a sardean wrap for added scent. I have a small 6 packer ice chest I use for bait. About 10 minutes ago I walked out and noticed the ice chest in my boat still. I thought, "no", "did I", and then I cracked the lid, "mother of god".

Words can not describe the smell of a pound of sardeans in 100 degree weather for 5 days, inside a ice chest.

oh and to my knowledge i have never licked a Norther Shoveler.

I feel your pain. I left a pack of squid in my hybrid for a day and a half a couple weeks ago. Not in a cooler, just in a plastic bag. After I got through the cloud of flies, I had to peel the bag off the fiberglass. It still stinks a little bit.
