Women and why feminism ruined many of them.

Just a poll.

Would you say you are a slob or a messy person? Is your woman?

How do you manage to get along if you're opposites? I'm about at the end of my rope with my slob woman. I'm don't have an OCD or anything, but it's been like pulling teeth to get the bed made by most of the women I've known.Cooking a meal from scratch seems to be losing it's appeal to women, too. If my woman cooks, you can bet she's looking in the freezer to see what she can pair up that's prepackaged. It's like women aren't concerned with being women any more.

Don...stay away from my wife. I got the one that cooks, cleans, does laundry, cleans ducks, and works as well.

I was in the same boat, Don. Lots of talking an explaining my side I working wonderfully. I had homemade lasagna last night ad the dishes were washed afterward. I did have to take over laundry though.

My wife and I share all responsibility and chores, we stick mostly to what we are good at, me cooking and her cleaning but not exclusively. Who ever had the lightest workload that week does the most home work.

I like to cook and so does she.
We both do chores around the house but in general, the kitchen and house is her turf, the garage and yard is mine.
We work together a lot because...

One person can do X amount of work in a day. Two people can do 3X or more if they are good at cooperating.
If you want more free time in your life, learn to cooperate and work together with your wife and family.

Hard to change slobish or lazy behavior in a person, especially women. Old habits die hard, if at all, and sometimes only temporarily. If she loves you, and you explain how you feel to her, her response will let you know if she truly loves you. If no changes are made, dump that bitch! It has taken two shots at marriage for me to finally find a woman that really cares. Mine doesn't clean ducks like AB's wife, but she would if I asked her too  I come home each day from work and dinner is cooking, clothes are being washed, dried and put up. On top of that, she makes twice the money I do, and is always looking at ways to improve our life. Duck hunting is the only thing we don't do together, but she will fish with me like it's her job, and loves it. We fish most every weekend of the year (except during duck season), and she will gladly wake up before daylight. As I get the boat ready, she is busy cooking breakfast and packing us a lunch. Sure makes life more pleasant............here's a pic from her first Spring bass trip in the delta with me a few years ago:

Hard to find a good one, but when you do, it is evident

My wife and I are both guilty of turning the house into a disaster area over the course of a week.I leave my hunting and fishing stuff laying all around, and she has all types of girly projects she is working on. Sewing and crocheting or what not. Then we take a full day to make the house perfect again. Some day we'll figure out to not let chores pile up. She does do the majority of the cooking though.

I prefer dishes/kitchen work to laundry (which I can't "do right" anyway) and she prefers laundry and surface cleaning. We pretty much split the cooking because we both enjoy it.

Like Jehler said, if one of us has shit to do, the other guards the dojo.

that's how it's done.

Oh and last night momma made from scratch sweet n sour orange chicken and fried rice. Better than anything you can get in a restaurant.

Kids do the dishes every night. They also fold and hang their own clothes. Momma just loads the washer and folds/ hangs my stuff while I'm at work

She's a doll at holding up her end of the bargain. And loves it when I call her outta the blue to meet me at work for lunch

Am doing laundry today. Cleaning up all my hunting crap and storing it. Toasting my pecans, and counting my blessings.

The only girl friend I lived with and I split responsibilities. I would cook and she would clean and do laundry. She had OCD and couldn't handle anything being a mess and I was a much much better cook.

Your use of past tense implies she is no longer with you. What happened in paradise?

She took a job in North Carolina and I took a job in Michigan. Neither of us could afford to not have a job and so...

Woody, if it seems like I am picking on you, it's not meant that way. I am just curious about you and am trying to help keep your mind off your troubles. K?

All is good Betty, the only troubles on my mind right now are how difficult it is to find a house to buy... Edit: this is the part that actually frustrates me... Gosh dang relator take forever to respond to anything.
