My truck sounded weird this AM. Five below zero and the chug chug sound coming from exhaust.
Had no power at all. Running, but no power.
Red light on dash looked like...
)Lightning bolt(
And its red.
What does that mean? It's cold am I'm too lazy to go get manual and read it. Its outside...cold, so cold.
I turned truck off, restarted, and light went away and took wife to work.
Just wondering wtf happened.

That chug chug was probably a cylinder or two missing. Maybe frozen up injector?

I don't know.
Guessing it was trying to tell me that the voltage was low.

Must have been the alternator or voltage regulator. Probably the brush springs were frozen.

fuck that. ETC is an easy fix, at least in my truck. hell, i can calibrate it on startup if i do certain things. if i remember right, it's attached to the throttle body.

OK. Its a throttle control.
Could be two things. The pedal potentiometer or the ETC.

replace the TCM. i think it was 50 bucks. go on the dodge forum and get the calibration setup, it's something like "press gas petal 3 times, right turn signal, gas petal to the floor and slowly release."

to be honest, probably so. in hot weather my gauges get fucked up. if i shut off and restart it's golden. if it persists, check TCM, cheap fix and stops the ghost shit.

Take the MCT, attach it to the LKJ,then synch it to GYT. After that is done, flush the MNP and refill with BNY. Once you have that done, connect the PJR to the WRD and parallel reverse sync those. As long as you follow SOP, you should be good to go.
