It's sleating here and people are freaking out.

Welcome to the South Olly  Too bad it's not snow, cause if it was, a lot of local businesses would take the day off to enjoy playing in it with their kids. Last time it snowed here, our company was having a noon Christmas luncheon, and the CEO told everybody to go back to their office, finish up any undone business, and go home

It's supposed to be in the 30-40's today, then single digits on Monday. The whole place is going to be an ice skating rink.

Mother nature screwed us the last week and a half of duck. That first negative cold spell froze the rivers and pushed most of the ducks out right before the last two weekends. The ducks that remained were shrouded in fog on the final Saturday. The weather warmed up and rained on ice cold rivers and fogged up everything. We couldn't see 20 yards all morning.

I'm worried about our February goose season. It starts February 1 and lasts til the 28th. The Allegheny and the Ohio Rivers are about frozen solid and will be next week for sure. I looked at the Monongahela River on the bus ride home today and it was almost frozen over. That river is one of four in the world that flows south to north and it has a higher ph causing it almost never to freeze. It freezes like once every 50 years.
