It's a couple hours away. Dumbass little punk killed three people. Who, of course, weren't allowed to have a gun to defend themselves, because that's "wrong" in this state.

No, you're expected to run, or cower and hide, while some 18 year old kid walks through a mall shooting people. I get so fucking pissed off when stuff like this happens. I don't give a shit what liberals say, if people had guns, this shit would stop.

The thing is, we always had guns but never had this many problems. What changed? Society? The family unit? Children raising children?

More important to drive a new car than for a parent to stay home and raise a child.

Hell yes. I tend to get a bad reputation because of my view on this but if people know they are getting the rope you bet your ass they're gonna think twice about it.

I don't really care about punishing someone near as much as being able to defend myself. In my view, a state which says "you cannot carry a gun" is giving me a death sentence in a situation like this. And that's why I just say fuck it, and carry anyway. But it would be nice to not have to fear jail for doing so. I have never, in my life, heard their position adequately articulated, most likely because they can't. "No, you can't carry a gun, because that's dangerous and that's what the cops are for". Bullshit. They make me wear a seatbelt to protect myself, but won't let me carry a gun to protect myself. It's complete utter bullshit.

While I agree, and my wife is currently a stay at home mother, a lot of the time it is just about impossible with only 1 working parent. Mrs Huntall is actually going to be going back part time so we don't have to live paycheck to paycheck. It will also allow for us to start a college fund, invest in Roth IRA's, and take a family vacation each year. My paycheck alone hasn't been able to do near that during the last year. And that's only with one child.

And for an example, the newest car we have is an 02, we have no debt accept the house, and I make between 20 and 30 bucks an hour.

I said that to say this. THE COST OF LIVING IS FUCKIN REDICULOUS!!!!

I'm the stay at home gramps. Oh, it sucks but no fucking way am I working for $8.25/hour. The cost of transportation etc.
If I worked at Rural King me and that one old woman would do all the work while the high school and college kid employees all wander around hiding from the customers...

Cost of transportation!? It would be well under a gallon a day for you to work at rural king. It's like a mile away from you!

She got an offer from Carle and has another interview for a different branch this week. We want a 3 day a week day shift thing with sick time and vacation.

Unlike AT, I do care about punishment. Those punks playing the knock out game would be better off it they were sentenced to 500 lash's over a 2 year period. They would probably decide to give up a lot of foolishness after that.
