I've never seen a duck with a split bill before. Can't imagine eating was easy for him.

You should get it mounted and preserve it.

You have no idea how good you guys have it. Well, you probably do. Great group of guys to hunt with and ducks, priceless. You need to say your prayers about what you guys have going.

Maybe that splitlip wondered through one of the wind farms. You know, they say they kill birds.

You're absolutely right and I do. I'm very luck to live here surrounded by good friends and great hunting. We hunted Joel's club in the morning and my blind in the afternoon. We had a great day and ended up shooting limits of sprig a teal, spoony, gadwall and widgeon. We stayed in the blind after shoot time and watched thousands of ducks land all around us to feed for the night. Awesome last day of duck hunting!

Tomorrow I'll be at my buddy's goose pit for the last day. Should be fun birds or no birds. :D

Damn Boot, you guys are really struggling to get those limits from your blinds. Maybe you should get a boat and head to the coast.

I shot a mallard that had a split bill like that once. They're pretty resilient buggers

While it's possible to get a full color sprig in MN, there is not a chance we'd ever see a tail like that. Nice

This one didn't have trouble eating steel at about 5 feet.
