So I get back to the house, and there's a package waiting. What the heck is this, I say.

Thanks for the laugh! That was pretty good timing, and I could use the chuckle.
Now I need to go to the local curandera and have her make me some kind of totem to hang from my 870 next season.
I will kill a pintail.

Me too. While it was a great idea, the Assa curse affected almost everyone in on the joke. I didn't shoot a bull sprig all season until after the feathers were mailed. Boot had to step up and shoot all of the birds. Nice job Zach. Glad you liked it Assa.

Wish I could say I came up with the idea, think it was joel or Zach, I was just the ass that had your address. We were gonna send it from the WCH so it would be post marked from Fortuna but the feathers were still at boot's house.

Sometimes I wonder if she hears the words coming out of my mouth. Or if she's just grown accustomed to the shenanigans over the years, and finds it easier to tune me out unless I've caught something on fire.
