Cold whiskey is horrible. It should be room temperature. Although I guess, technically, that Crown is room temperature for the room you're in.

Lantern is out of gas, this is truly turning into a "fishing with John" episode, starving or freezing to death here is a real possibility

Highlight of the day was falling through the ice at a pressure crack in 500' of water, don't know why that freaks me out any more than 5'8" of water but it did

I jumped off a fishing boat out in the canyons once. I was the same way- no clue why I had a greater feeling of dread in the pit of my stomach than in the deep end of the pool, but it damn sure was. Something about all the water underneath just creeps me out a little when I'm in it.

Not since I was a kid.
But Shark Week on Discovery ruined the ocean for Layniebug for a couple weeks this past summer. Not because of the sharks, but because of some dumbass 5 foot wide crab they showed. She just knew she was going to get dragged to England by one of those things.
