The Wind Chill Record is *BROKEN* at Howard Pass, Alaska Remote Automatic Weather Sensor (RAWS) as of February 14, 3:39 pm AKST!
The wind chill would make it feel like the outside air was -97 F. The temperature was -42ºF with a sustained wind of 71 mph from the North. A gust occurred at 78 mph.
Howard Pass is uninhabited, as is much of the Brooks Range. The previous record of -96 F was recorded in Prudhoe Bay/ARCO on January 28, 1989 at an inhabited location.

they can control the blood flow and temperature to certain parts of their bodies, their legs can have a temp of just above 32*F to maintain their core temperature.
