Can't see the video, but is this the one where 2 guys try to rob some bank or casino or something wearing all black, and some 70 year old guy wearing white just starts unloading on them and follows them to the door and sneaks another shot or two through the closing door at them (being aware that he didn't follow them out the door so it was all still self defense, smart man)?

Self defense should go until they're dead or you're out of bullets. If somebody's in my house at night, and I shoot at them and they take off running, through the house and out the door, I feel I should be allowed, even encouraged, to continue shooting until I feel like stopping or they're off my property, one or the other. This whole "he started to run away" crap will get people killed by overthinking if they're going to jail for it or not. Same thing with my yard- if I come out and you're breaking into my Jeep or shop, I should be allowed to shoot first and ask questions later, whether he starts running away when I say "WHAT THE **** ARE YOU DOING?" or not. Don't want to get shot? Don't do shit you're not supposed to do. Simple.

In MN it's "across the threashold of your home". Inside, you can shoot, outside you cannot. They are trying to change that around though I think.

When I took my concealed carry class the instructor said "Don't give somebody a warning to shoot first. Just start shootin'. I ain't too proud to shoot a man in the back if he's unhooking my tv in the living room." I laughed and took it to heart!
