Feb. 17th, 2014 Master Sgt. Aaron Torian, 36, assigned to 2nd Marine Special Operations Battalion, was killed by an improvised explosive device that detonated in Afghanistan.

This video was put together as a tribute to him, his family, his life, and his sacrifice.

He was laid to rest yesterday, 2-27-2014 at Arlington National Cemetery

We all owe him and unpayable debt.

R.I.P. Master Sargent Aaron Torian. Another American hero, warrior laid to rest. In Arlington cemetery he will be joining many other heros.

A reminder that the "price of freedom" stuff we throw around has a very human face.

watched the whole video in the morning at work. its appropriate at my work and dont eff around otherwise. maybe if im on the pooper and see something wisecrack worthy i will post. whats the worst about this and many other circumstances just like this; is that these are truly OUR brightest, unselfish, best genes in the pool type of people. These master sarg types are go getters and the first ones in. Hate losing that, huge sacrifice for OUR Constitution.

No, I saw it elsewhere, but it really got to me, so I shared.
I wrote to his family and told them that I felt like I could give them everything I have and still come up short of paying the debt.
I extended an open invitation for them to come and stay at my home any time they're traveling in the area and need a peaceful day or two in the VA countryside.

Still not enough.
