I need to do do a Brake Job on my truck soon and was curious on where to get a decent price on pads and rotors. I know Olly was talking about using Rock Auto for a lot of his parts, anybody else got a website they like?

With all those kids, you should've put on the brakes and went with a few bjs instead

Are you going to give your hot rod a BJ at home by yourself? You are a bigger man than me. I say why do it yourself, when you can pay a qualified technician to give you a BJ. Sit back and relax while they go to work. When they are done, you can get up and leave them with the mess to clean up. Just my opinion. Good luck.

And don't bother asking your wife, you know she isn't going to want to do it.

If you don't want my advice, FINE! But you don't have to make a joke out of it! Damn mods!

No, they mail them just fine to your neighbors house if that is what I want. But not near as fast or cheap as going to the parts store after they close and getting them yourself.

You should look into it. Most guys get one every 3 years or so.

I have had great luck with orielly's. get the intermediate pads and rotors and your good to go. Just make sure you get the ceramic pads and if you aren't replacing the rotors, at least have them turned. If you are doing the rears, pad slap that bitch and keep on truckin.

What's wrong with taking the part to Napa and making sure you get the right thing?
The Napa girl is hot and knows a lot about cars. :)

I'd imagine shipping on rotors would kill the deal.

Go check out Rock Auto you'll be suprised. They are super quick at shipping too. I think it's because they have a lot of warehouses around the company.

Doing it yourself is fun and rewarding, having the correct tools helps. I always knew my old philosophy books would come in handy dome day.

Always had great experience with Napa safety stop pads or Wagner thermo quiet. Installed hundreds if not a thousand sets with very few problems that could be attributed to the pad itself.

As much as it hurts to agree with AB, put some jackstands under it. Here is your official internet kick in the nuts Frylock.
