I can't believe nobody posted this yesterday!? Last I heard there were 4 dead including the shooter and something like 16 injured (3 on ventilators). How the hell could they let this happen again??

We've got some discussion going on another thread, but yeah it needs it's own spot.

Not saying the 2 are related, but it seems awful coincidental

I read that it was a work center related incident. Being in the military, that tells me that Spc Lopez was bullied by fellow co-workers to the point that he flipped his switch. Couple that with PTSD problems that he supposedly had and you have a rough situation.

Believable as hell.
Not sure about now but when I was in the service every soldier who went out of the country, re-entered through Ft. Hood.
At least one or two came back with issues.

The problem I keep seeing over and over ad nauseum when related to these "shootings" the cause is always lack of mental health care or facilities to house and care for mental health patients.

AFTER we get rid of guns and these psychos keep on finding ways to kill people, then we'll finally identify that the actual problem isn't firearms. It's mental health care.

It's all about money and who is gonna pay? The jails are full of mental patients...When I got locked up in Arkansas I was visibly relieved when I figured out there was only ONE psycho in there with me. The inmates thought I was Happy about getting locked up. Actually I was happy that I got to walk by the other two cellblocks where the real crazy people were kept.
Saw them fighting with shanks as I walked by and the deputy said, "ignore them".

Yep. Im willing to bet that his supervisor was in on it too. Usually if an NO is worth a damn they will put the kibosh on this stuff once it reaches a certain point.
