Drying herbs...

My first time. Anyone done it? AT you've had to have done it. Hope this works out. Any tips or advice?

Just like that without the paper bag is how I have always done it

neighbor recommended the bags to keep em free of dust since I have em hanging in the garage. Bout how long am I looking at hanging em?

You live in humboldt right? You should have no shortage of knowledgable herb dryers around there.

I don't use the bags, either, and you might want to consider a fan. It's pretty humid here, and I'd imagine the same there. I keep a box fan running on low to keep the air moving. When they get about 3/4 dry, I put them IN paper lunch bags, open at the top, hanging from clothespins, to catch the "crumbs", before I grind them all up.

We always dried our herb by hanging it from it's roots in my friend's basement........different times I guess. 8-)
I did have a nitwit friend that tried to dry it in the microwave, talk about a fiasco. :roll:
