Are you guts just that stupid? You're going to drain something like 37 MILLION gallons of water from a reservoir because some drunk guy pissed in it? Really? What do those special folks in Portland think the ducks, geese, and fish do in it hundreds of thousands of times a day?

Further pussification of America right there. And Bear Grylls would be ashamed.

Either way, it's pretty silly. Do these people really think that the water is pumped out of the reservoir directly into their kitchen faucet?

As a native Oregonian, I issue the following disclaimer:
Portland is weird as fuck. In no way do the views and expressions of P-town represent that of Oregon as a whole. It is simply where we banish unto all the hippies and whack jobs which plague our beautiful corner of the Pacific Northwest. p.s. Eugene is also fucked.

Yes, P-town and Eugene are synonymous.

I understand. Just like down state Illinois is complete opposite of Chicago.

I've been through part of Illinois and all I can say is Fuck. Chicago. We had to drive from southern Chicago, I think near Chicago Heights, all the way through to Waukegan. Seen my life flash before my eyes countless times. Apparently speed limits don't matter there, you just go 90 or get the hell out of the way. If a trucker wants to merge, he will merge dammit! And if you're in his was sorry for your luck, either get off the road or get smashed. The we got to our hotel in Waukegan, turns out we were ripped off and sleeping in the ghetto. Pretty sure I heard a crack deal going on outside. Woke up in the morning and some dude was sleeping in the stairwell of the hotel. Tried to cross the street once, there are no crosswalks there. People speed up as you try to scramble across the street. It's like a game of frogger. After we crossed the street, I seen a pimp. You may ask how I know he was a pimp. Just imagine a pimp, and that is what he looked like.

Fuck Portland! I'd like to piss in their water supply too.
I think they just want to drain it so they can justify whatever charges they plan on hitting him with.

If you want them to drink it, put it in a bottle. The people of P-town do not drink tapwater.
That's the funny thing about this whole thing. Most of them have bought off on this whole can't drink from faucets and garden hose bullshit that's been passed down in the last 2 decades in America.
You have to admit, whoever started the reeducation/endoctrination about all water not being fit to drink is a fuckin' genius.
Water in a bottle for the same price as soda pop, tea, fruit juice etc.....
There are people in third world nations that drink water daily we would not use to flush our toilets. My dogs will drink water from under a rig that's leaking oil and fuel and they are still alive. LMFAO!!!

Southern Chicago is horrible, but Detroit is a nightmare. I hope I never have to step foot in either places for as long as I live.

Not just that, it's the people in rough parts of town. I had to go to Detroit last year for a funeral right in the roughest part of town. It was definitely a place you don't want to be after 9 at night.

I wasn't even staying in southern Chicago, just had to drive through there. Waukegan in north of Chicago and it's still shitty.

South, south west part was the part I was in and from what I was told, it's one of the roughest places in Detroit. My buddy had to move there because his mom got a job offering or something. They weren't there but for 3 weeks and he got murdered one night because he would give a guy a cigarette.
