God I'm glad I don't have to do that shit in college.

I can't explain it in geometry terms. Trig makes it easy.
There's some long videos on YouTube. I like u and everything but watching a 15 minute video on geometry is where I draw the line. You're on your own little buddy.

The thing that sucks is I'm still in high school.

I'll help. Gimmee some thyme to figure this out. I did geometry in 8th grade in 1976.

Oh I was good at it in high school, but I can't remember jack shit about how to do it now.

That dude sucks at teaching math but he did explain what you need to do pretty well. Like triangles....break em down and if you want set up three equations with three unknowns and solve using a bum bum bummmm MATRIX
if you have a good scientific calculator like a ti 81 or whatever...you can solve the matrix easy with that.

I'm in my 3rd semester of college math and I've never heard of that. Shows how much I pay attention.

It's because you think it's easy and your calculator does it all. (it probably does).

Could be. Id watch the video and see what it is, but I don't want to.

I don't remember how to do it, but I remember doing it in geometry in 10th grade, not in college. I loved geometry. The only math that seemed useful.

I gotta be perfectly honest with you Rex, I've got a fucking math degree and I don't even know what the fuck this means. Perhaps this is something that I did once that I've pushed to the back of my brain, but it should give you a pretty good idea of just how fucking important it is in the long run.

I have a TI Voyage 200. Far superior to any 80 series.

Oh yeah. I've got the Challenger 2200 with a built in flux capacitor..... far superior to your TI Voyage 200.

x2, and is actually a lot of fun when you build shit. you can also prove dumbass coworkers wrong about their "figuring" on angles and such.

Your calculator is 500 times smarter than you are so why don't you ask it wtf a geometric mean of a trifuckingangle is.

You need to pitch that bitch out the window doing about 80 and go get an 84. Over complicated piece of shit.

When I started my junior year at Chico State, I bought a pocket calculator for $99 that would add, subtract, multiply, divide and do percentage and square root. Everyone bitched because I could afford a pocket calculator about the size and thickness of a deck of cards and the weight of a half brick. By the time I graduated they were giving pocket calculators (that were about 10% of the size and weight of mine) for free if you bought a carton of cigarettes. Texas Instrument Calculators are great but also pretty common. It is far better to have an Asian nerd friend with one that can carry your books and do your homework for you with his or her calculator.
