Wow, if I was a tax payer in Texas I would be pissed. Not at the fact that it's falling apart just two years after it opened but that the school district spent 60 MILLION dollars on it.

Does anyone here do concrete work?
I have and on all the state or city jobs I worked on they did slump tests on every load plus poured some test cylinders.

Explain that this stadium builder and architect got some splainin to do. There has to be a paper trail on the Crete...if not, oh boy.

Not 69.5 million dollars worth though.
No way.
It's not like they're being nationally televised and selling memorabilia across the country.
That's definitely tax payer dollars.

This is interesting...
60 million dollar stadium and that town has put ONE player in the NFL.
Here's a list of pro football players to have come from Griffin, Ga.

We have two AAAA highschools here and they SHARE the same old crappy stadium in town.
Griffin high won the state championship last year and are usually in contention for it every year.
Silly Texas.

Not that big of a deal. They just got $30K from a simple pot arrest.

They'll get that money back quick...

It's as if Texas has invented the self-milking cow and named it Allen. :)

Isn't football considered a religion in Texas? I think so.
