Cool video.......but not a very nice thing to do this time of year!!

agree, not a very nice thing to do. I've been duck hunting for over 17 years and have NEVER seen that many teal before in 1 group. where is this from?

It's in Louisiana.see it alot in the marshes and rice fields

We get greenwings like that out here from time to time. The north grass lands south of us get greenwings and cinnamon In huge flocks like that regularly. Fun as hell to hunt.

Yeah. The last month of the season. Especially the last week and a half their was balls of teal every where.

Last year we got more GW than I have ever seen here. Not as many cinnamons as usual

Right! We're know for getting a shit pot of greenwings and lots of cinnamons late in the season here but January was nuts around the northern part of the valley last season. I couldn't even imagine what was goin on down in Gustine north grass lands.

We hosted a youth hunt at the club this season it is after the regular season here.
The kids in my blind shot 16 birds between them every last one a GW. All but 2 were drakes. It was nuts and boy they were pretty. All the feathers on that late in the season.

The last ten or so years. We've had good wigeon numbers. But not great. This past season they came into the valley with a vengeance. Dumb shits were everywhere.

One time my dad took me along when he hunted somewhere along the Arizona border.I was a little kid at the time. I remember It was different for sure.

Its not just mallards flying around here and a lot of times not that many mallards are moving. It test one personal fortitude when you have gaddys teal wigeon and sprig all up in your business and you're waiting on Mr. Greentop.

When some one shoots a limit of greenheads in say Arkansas or the Midwest somewhere and that's the only species you see. It really doesn't do anything for me. If that's the only duck moving and that's all you can get a crack at then what's the big deal ...... their I said what I've thought for years. Let the ridicule begin. :mrgreen::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I live it and completely agree. We see very few species other than mallards around here.

Hopefully I'll make it to the Mississippi to bag some variety this season.
