Patched a crack in my kayak with epoxy and gorilla tape. Did same on inside and outside.

Jarbo, do you have any epoxy resin left? I bet it would hold better with fiberglass cloth or mat. You can get either at Wally World or lowes. The resin they sell there is shit but the cloth is the same as any.

Not a resin, I used waterweld epoxy putty, have seen it do crazy things on vehicles. After curing I sanded smooth keeping patch thin. Then heated and used gorilla tape. Used a heat gun on each layer.

Look up "kayak welding."
They just use a hair dryer or a heat gun to melt plastic in to patch holes.

After first trip to the lake no leaks, from the repaired area at least. Did find another area on the rear keel that leaked, I was not surprised, I expected it.
