I just watched the video and the kid not only got out of his car but was walking further onto the track. What the hell does anyone think the outcome is going to be when you go walking around a track with fast moving cars? Even with a caution out. He should have stayed in his car until the wrecker came and removed him.

I'd bet in whatever rules they follow there is something about that.

His reputation as a dick head is the reason they are looking further into this. Tony has been my favorite driver for a long time. I really have a hard time believing he did it on purpose but I could be biased. If it does turn out he did, then needless to say I won't be a fan of smoke any more.

Doubt they roll that fast under caution in a sprint car

Hard to tell from the vid but it looked like he was trying to get in front of Tony's car to force him to stop and Tony goosed the throttle to get by him before he could. Anybody else notice that the kids car was lucky #13 ?

Who in the hell stays in a wrecked race car? I would think the other drivers would be looking out for me as wrecked race cars bursting into flames is a fairly common occurrence, having the other drivers speed up and swerve into me is not what I would expect

short dirt tracks they go 35ish on yellow.
i too am a fan of smoke, some of the other drivers said the track was almost too slick to drive on.
i watched the video until just before tony hit him. couldnt get my self to watch it any further.
yes kid should have stayed in his car, but how many times do we see a pissed off driver get out of his car in nascar to throw a helmet or gloves at the guy they are pissed at, on the racing surface. the fans love that shit.
should have been handled in the pits or at least when there was no traffic.
best part of racing back in the day was the guys beating the shit out of each other.
this kid should have taken the beat down in the infield not on the track

If they could come up with another video of a down the track angle. The across track film they have can't say what is really goin on. If it was intentional charge his ass for murder. If it really was an accident and tony didn't see him or didn't intentionally try to hit or throw mud on him. Then its tough to say, but the kid instead of getting lucky and learning a lesson you dont run into the center of the track. Caught a bad break and died.

I wanna know what the kid was pissed at. He sent himself into the wall.
Then he almost got hit by the first guy then walked further into the track and into the side of Tonys car.
What did he think was going to happen?

It's a bad deal all around but I see no fault on anyone but the kid. Let his temper get the best of him.
