I think those hand throwers were put on earth to make me look like a retard.

I can whip a clay just as good as the cheaper spring loaders with those things. Even better if you secure the thrower to the end of a broken golf club.

I'll never forget the day my younger brother laid my dad on the ground by laying one across his nose. Dad had the gun shouldered and never saw it coming. Bro just held on a little too long and had zing behind it to boot.
As for actual clays Slow, my expertise stops at the cow tank shoots.

You and my wife both. She smashed one on the vent rib of my buddies 870 one time. After that she had to stand to the far left of everybody so that if she forgot to "snap" it nobody would die.

Duck tape that hand thrower to a five foot broom handle and stand back. It will move like a teal. Low and fast.

I've shot some sporting clays in my day, but only ever registered trap and skeet clays. The one range that was close to me closed down though. Can't wait to move home and get back to shooting 2-300 rounds a week at the gun club.

I used to travel all over Florida and South GA shooting Sporting Clays. Finally got burned out and haven't shot a Tournament in years. Wouldn't mind shooting again sometime but will never get back in like I was again.

The way my girlfriend uses one of those "chuck-it"s for throwing the dog ball, I'd be afraid she'd do the same with those clay throwers. Luckily my dad has a spring loaded clay thrower, I just don't have anywhere to use it
