One of the first things I do to get ready for duck season

I do things by the month and August is time to do PM on your window air conditioner. Used to work for Sears installing and maintaining AC units. We got more calls for "frozen evap coils" during August. By then the coils have just enough gunk on them to slow the air flow down enough to let that coil start condensing water and freezing it into a block of ice. Always loved them easy money clean the coils type of calls.

So I'm doing my pre-duck season window unit pm's today and figured I'd share. Clean the filters and spray the coils with the coil cleaning spray. Rinse it off and whallah...nice shiny coils all clean and ready for another season.

Then I'm going to go mess with my boat, scout for ducks, and forget about AC for about eight months.
Around Halloween we take them out and store the little life savers knowing they're ready for the next heat wave.
It's so close to time to kill ducks that I'm actually starting to get excited. :duck:

Flint it was over $4000 to install central air and about $500 to buy two window units AND IT'S NOT MY HOUSE. I can take my AC when I move.
Which would you do and what would you do with the extra $3500+ ???
Spending that extra $3500 would be...

Crazy

I'd rather not argue with you but you started it by using that word ^^^

I understand tho.
You seen me post a lot of crazy stuff. It's just me havin fun so lets have fun mmmmkay?

I'm getting ready to build a new house, it will 100% have central heating and air with a gas furnace but we have a hotter more humid climate than you do. It's really not as much a luxury as it is a necessity, as the weather fucking sucks here 10 months out of the year.

You're building a house? (all by yourself?)
Is this a home-made deal like that air boat thread or are you paying the messicans to make you one?

Throw a couple of coils of copper tubing painted black, on your roof and pipe it to a holding tank so you can get free hot water. I'm guessing it's hot and sunny a lot of the time in Ga..
