Best Craigslist day ever

Yesterday I was stressing about not having enough money for my trip to Texas Thursday to see my daughter graduate from grad school. Yesterday afternoon I put an ad on Craigslist for my 3 point hitch grading blade that I don't use, and renewed an expired ad for my 2002 Suburban that sat all winter. This morning I woke up to a response from a guy who said he wanted to come see the Suburban and was bringing cash and a trailer. He was two hours away. Another guy had contacted me overnight and said he would definitely take the blade at my price and wanted to get it this morning. Come on down! He showed up 20 minutes after I talked to the Suburban guy and didn't even argue the price for the blade. I picked it up with the Kubota and loaded it in his pickup. He handed over a wad of cash. Less than an hour after he left the other guy showed up and checked out the Suburban, took it for a ride up the road and back, crawled under it and came out with a wad of cash in his hand, no negotiations, he liked my price! I helped him load it and away he went. I have never had a day like this before!
Needless to say my 10 days in Texas are going to go much better.
