Anyone going to travel for hunting this fall ? I've been thinking about one last trip to Nodak even though it isn't what it used to be. Although if the gas remains this high I might have to rethink things..............where you all headed?

Hopefully the usual of a handful of trips west of the Mississippi, exact destination typically unknown until I'm halfway there.
Have an offshore trip planned with college buddies out of Venice, LA for weekend of August 7th. Looking forward to that one.

Wow thanks for reminding me.
Last January a random guy stopped and chatted for like 4 beers.
He has a home near the border in Minnesota I guess.
I need to call him and remind him about all the stuff he said.
lol
I will for sure end up buying an expensive out of state license AGAIN. I go south tho.

lucky for me....if the water is up, there's no need to travel more than an hour, tops, for a good hunt....most of my spots are less than 1/2 hr. away

Kansas for sure as my buddy lives there. Possibly Nebraska and WI. Just like Plainsman I don’t have much reason to travel.

What part of North Dakota? If I may ask why would this be your last trip here?

My friends with the pontoon boat are expecting me to charge out to middle stake on opening day.
November can't get here quick enough for me.
https://youtu.be/2JAtP2U6qB4The man driving that rig is completely deaf. Very nice family of hunters.
The big hole we drove thru is lower stake.
Nobody uses that hole much. It's kinda big.
