Why are people going nuts about this thing? Apparently our area will be directly in the path, and so far we have already gotten calls from a couple of our cousins and nieces/nephews stating they want to come up and view the eclipse. Of course they want to stay at our house, and since it's my wife's family .........she can't say no. I don't get it and frankly I could care less about it, but now it's morphing into a whole "thing". I'll need to get out of town when it happens. RS what can I do ?

I guess it all depends on your beliefs...
The flat earth community...lol...probably thinks the space simulation just has these things programmed.
The rest of us are looking for a sign.
