Petro smells quite literally make me sick, so I've learned as little as possible about their production, but one of Call and my exercise/training circuits passes close by this location that is most always swarming with mosquitoes and deer flies on its downwind side. Curious if it's heat, CO2 or something else that draws them.

Yep I think they’re attracted to the gas. Some of my more gassier locations when I get to the top of tanks are just swarming with bugs. Especially the little gnats. Sometimes when I open up the hatch moths will come flying out. In the Treater houses House flies are in there by the hundreds. I’m also guessing because they are attracted to the warmth when they’re trying to escape the cool of night here.

I will have to check, but I thought I did a YouTube video of the flies inside the Treater. Get the popcorn ready

Yep you can’t always smell it. I’m amazed how many times my monitor goes off.
