A Little Weekend Fun

My daughter and her husband came for a visit this weekend.
Neither of them has ever shot much, because we lived in town previously.
We shot some skeet and 22s Saturday. My daughter was amazingly good with the .22, clipping empty 20 ga. hulls on sticks at 30 yards quite handily.

I've had these six charges of Tannerite for years, and the white parts had gotten hot in my old shed and solidified.
I took the time this morning to chisel them out and pulverize them back into a powder again, then mixed it all up in one big container.
The son-in-law did the honors with my 22-250.

Try taping it to a coleman propane canister, line it up so the bullet passes through both.

See that trail going in the oaks back there?
This little guy walked out and stood there this morning at daybreak.
I was in the room over the garage with Savage ML at the ready. 8-)

I love shooting deer from the house- nothing else like it! Had you ever seen this guy before, or did you just have some time and decide to sit and watch the oaks?

I saw him a couple of weeks ago. Didn't get a good look back then, but I could tell he was an OK buck at 150 yards in pre-dawn light.

No there is only one way to count unless its a bull elk. Then you can call it a 5 by 6 or how ever many points it has on each side.

You just proved that our way is the right way. If it works on one antlered animal, it should work on the other.
