Its a start. All I need is a hose barb on the valve and some hose. Then make a tarp-curtain or something. I camp at some primitive sites that are free. Far from civilization.

I'd paint that thing black. Cold showers suck.

Was wishing I had a black bucket. Have propane heaters and Coleman stoves. Heating water isn't a problem.
It's not like I need 5 gallons of boiling water. Will heat water in a stock pot and add it to cold in the bucket, hoist into tree with the rope to get some head pressure.
The whole thing is free so far. Used stuff I already had.
I'll buy a hose barb but will find a piece of an old garden hose somewhere.
That way if I lose the thing I'm not out a ton of cash.
It's a good prototype. Will perfect it on the next one.

I should just buy one of these for $12 plus shipping from Cabelas. I'm too assacheap.
Re-purposing some things I would have tossed anyway.

Ef showers. Half the fun of a 2 week hunt is the stank you build up.

I prefer to be dry and clean when its time for me to sleep. I have spent way too many nights on the wet, cold and miserable ground not to enjoy a warm, clean dry bed at the end of the day.

I was pretty stnky last duck season. Took a shower every two weeks wether i needed it or not. Not this year...every day.
Things didnt work out with the club house as planned and i became a nomad.

Ever try a solar shower? You can get them at wallyworld for about $10. It's basically a black bag with a shower head attached on one side and a hoist rope on the other. Put it in the sun for a few hours and its pretty warm. I've left them all day and it was way to hot.

That's what we had at the deer camp before week hooked up running water. Worked good.

I have used the grey one I posted a picture of. The nozzle is cheap and it's weak. I wanted to try and make something better. Once I get done...it will be much better. The valve for instance is really cheap on the store-bought ones. The shower head on mine was something I was wanting to get some kind of use out of. Hate throwing away anything that could be useful. So far the entire project is built out of trash. That's the point.
