Pricing sheeting for my chicken coop.
OSB costs 14.89/ sheet and CDX is 14.99.
I think I will splurge and spend the extra cash for real plywood.
Cant believe splurging is going to cost me forty cents extra. lol

OSB is $15 a sheet? Holy crap. We were that high a couple years ago, but been down to about $9-$11 recently. $15 for floor scraps and glue. Amazing.

I think transportation is the cost. Plus I live in this College town where every damned thing is inflated then taxed.
Really, just for a joke I priced CDX and shit when I saw that. Makes me want to drive to some jobsites and see whats going onto roofs. If it was my building, I would pay the extra DIME a sheet to get some quality.
And they say I am the crazy one.??????

The shitty thing about CDX is that it is wavy. Definitely better in my eyes than OSB...but id rather work with OSB.

Its $15 a sheet here too for 7/16"
However cdx is $20. Last year OSB was $5 a sheet.

You're right about that- putting CDX on as sheathing is a pain. In. The. Ass.

Yup and usually looks just a bowy when its up. We never use it but if i could get it the same price as osb i would use it for home projects.

Its a chicken coop. Painting osb is ugly as fuck. Thats why I chose CDX.
The largest piece is 80" x 30". It will be fine.
Maybe I will use deck stain. Barn red.

$40 a sheet here. The stuff I used was clearances out for $16, so that was a no brainer.
