Ha! This just reminded me of an embarrising story I've tried to block from my memory. Everytime we get new bows in at work, I give them the once over and check if everything is correct on them and usually shoot it once or twice. Not too long ago, we got in a new bear attack (sweet bow btw). I happen to grab the same old 20 dollar release that we have used tons of times. Well apparently it was on its last leg. I get about halfway back, pulling the full 70lbs and WHAM. The release breaks and I punched myself square in the mouth with the force of 10 tigers. Busted open my lip and damn near broke some teeth out. That was a funny accident report I had to fill out.
