				Franchi I-12 & affinity

Looking at getting one of these as I feel a need for a moderately priced semi auto. Shooting a stoeger p350 right now and it's quite the turd and weighs a ton. Can't afford a real "B gun" right now so lets not go there.
Anybody have one ? Shot one?
Pros and cons?

Never owned an I-12, but shot one for a few rounds of SC.
It would probably be my choice if I didn't have an SBE

That's what I wana hear. The I-12 is the predecessor to the affinity from what I understand, it will shoot a 3-1/2 but the affinity won't. I don't ever really shoot 3-1/2s but id like to have the option to if I wanted to.
Now I guess I'm in the market for a gun that's not made any more!

No it's half stoeger half benelli.

Definitely not buying the m3500. Heard nothing but bad about them.

Shot a friends Affinity, liked it. And know a few others that have it and they have no complaints. It'll be my next gun purchase as I have no need to shoot 3 1/2's

The I-12 only shoots 3" not 3-1/2" shells.
Franchi also makes the Infinity which is the Affinity's sister gun, it shoots 3-1/2"
Also, it uses higher quality materials than the Affinity.
http://www.franchiusa.com/intensity-shotgunIt will likely be my next gun. If I don't buy a Citori.

A friend of mine has the I-12 and he says it shoots 3.5

I believe you probably could get a 3.5 inch shell in there and shoot it, but it probably wouldn't eject.
Doing so is gambling with your fingers. I only started life with ten, and I need everyone of them.

That is just my speculation from shouldering them back to back.
The Affinity's stock is thin walled and feels cheep, the Intensity's stock feels higher quality.
There also seems to be less slop in the in the Intensity.
Also, before I called it the infinity, it is the Franchi Intensity.
http://www.franchiusa.com/intensity-shotgunI could be completely wrong it just felt nicer.

How much did he pay for it three years ago? I think they've gone up a bit in price
