Between 2 mossbergs....

Alright fellas I'm between the mossberg model flex 500 and the 535 ats..... which one do you guys recommend I hunt mainly mallards and teal but would like something versatile enough to shoot some thunder chickens w as well

I personally would say spend a few extra bucks and get the Beretta A300. Real cheap nice semi auto

If you're going to get a Mossberg pump, I'd lean towards the 835. Arguably the best patterns you will get out of a 12 gauge, especially with large steel.

835 or 500, I have both and they both kill shit no matter what.

I've got a 500. Had an 835 I bought last year when I went duck huntin bc I left straight from the boat and the duck hunt was an after thought. Took it out the first morning shot it once, the next day took it back out misfired 3 times. Took it to the gun shop they took it apart, couldn't find anything wrong w/ it so I traded it in. The 500 I've killed turkey hunted w/ it, used it when pushing thick stuff for deer, never had a bit of trouble w/ it

Another plus for the 835, you can add an extension to it.
