How many shells we should have in a shotgun for duck hunting?

3 in a semi automatic or pump action shotgun.

What matters is how many it can hold.
Unplugged with 3 is still a violation.
Check to see how many will fit.
THREE is what is allowed.
If your gun holds 5 you got some splainin to do mister.

Typically you get checked at the ramp after you're done.
GW will ask for your gun and maybe some shells.
He will start putting shells into the magazine but not the chamber.
If your magazine holds more than two shells that's a violation unless you're hunting snow geese in the conservation season.
You can run unplugged then.
