Check out F&T trapping supplies, they're right here in MI, quick shipping and very competitive prices, I think I got those same snare for $18 a dozen. I also bought some cable stops, and other snare parts for rebuilding wrecked sets.
X2 on fnt supplies. Gd prices and fast shipping for sure

To the best of my knowledge, they don't do castor, only pelts.

Learn something new. Looks like they just sell it, not auction it. Here's the info/point of contact for castor off of their website, if you don't already have it.

If he had said "the most costly" part of the beaver, that would have to be the 115 pounds immediately surrounding it.

That's solid advice. Set 12 conibears up and whatever is still alive after 1 year will be worthy of living there...

Jehlers right Goldie. We're gonna read about you and your ol' lady in the news having 10 starving horses in you back yard. People aklways start out with good intentions and then it gets to more than they can handle or afford.

I'd be scared they would crease in half as the skin dried. But maybe since the rats are so small they don't exert the same pressure as a coon or fox.

I've been using that method lately and it works great. Super fast and easy to get them off. No belly board needed.

Actually pretty hard to fold. Not as easy as I thought they would be. I did 2 the other night and have 3 more on them right now. Haven't seen any folding. I'm thinking they would also be gd for mink since you have to put so many damn pins in them
