Traveling call

Postby jarbo03 » Sat Feb 23, 2013 11:45 pm

If there are enough people interested, I would make a slate call
to travel the country. Everyone could sign it, same as the decoy.

Doesn't matter to me, seasons open in the south first. Thought it would be fun, I did it with a group of guys last year. After seeing the call rhat was sent around, I decided to build one. It sounded good so figured what the hell.

Looks like my season opens April 15th. So however that fits into this deal is fine with me.

Damn, that is after our season opens. We can start a list of dates, same as the traveling decoys. Sign up for any weekend you'd like. Is also inexpensive to ship, which is nice.

he should be able to for the late season. Unless UP is different. MI is real stingy with their turkeys.

We only get 4 a year...but allegedly, other people's tags get filled for them, or so I've heard.

Only for the early seasons.
Hunt 234 you can buy over the counter until May 1st and it's good statewide with exceptions for areas in southern Michigan.

If you want one of the early seasons it's by drawing otherwise you can just buy a tag for the last hunt. Our numbers in certain areas can vary greatly depending on how hard the winter is and if there is a feeding program in that area.
