We get 3 spring tags across the counter but, the 2nd and 3rd tag are only usable in certain areas, not the whole state.
We're allowed another tag in the fall but, I'm pretty sure they are all draw tags now and are hunt unit specific. We're also allowed to shoot hens in the fall season, if we choose to.

Same here on the hens. In the spring it has to be a Tom and only one per day. Fall you can shoot 2 birds in a day and can be either sex. If I get one in the fall, it's always a hen. Save the gobblers for spring.

but you just killed 5 toms when you shot the hen....

I think they should do away with the fall hunts and just put the extra tags into the spring hunt. There are too many things to shoot at in the fall already.

I'm just fucking with you. There are so many things that kill turkeys besides people that taking a hen out wouldn't make a difference.

Where I hunt we can only kill 1 tom. No fall season and turkey must be checked at a station with 24 hours.

We are one of the 28 counties in the state that can kill Eastern turkeys, that is why the restrictions are like they are.

Okay, I'll say May 11-12. I'll actually hunt 13-14. I avoid weekends. It can be tough that late in the season though.
Depending on what happens with my daughters wedding the following week, I may have to adjust or back out. I'll know better toward the end of April.

We can kill 4 birds, and 2 can be hens, but we still get tags every year. Not that I use them, allegedly

Oh buddy I'm not much of a turkey hunter. I've killed probably 10 in my day but i seldom go after them anymore our season is in the middle of our striper season and I'm usually busily catching as many as I can. Gadwall might be interested though. He puts some time in for them at his property and forgets to invite me a lot.;)

Jarbo, Apparently my seasons got mixed up this year. I have a first season tag which is April 8-12th. Which is a Mon-Fri. That sucks I usually always get a first and fifth season, but only I only received the one this year for some reason.

Hey jarbo, I will be tagged out by the weekend, so if it can't get to me by the 30th, just skip me, or I can just use it putting a bitd on someone else.
