Mr. Fancy Pants I see.

How do you transition from place boards to 3 casting? The programs I have don't use the boards so I have always wondered. Got a buddy using the boards now with his pups. Pretty neat how they catch on so quick.

But honestly "remote sit" is something I want this dog to understand. I didn't teach Charlie "remote sit." Wish I would have.

Any tips?

Easy. You can still teach ol' Chuck too. I start by heeling and as I'm walking give a "sit,*whistle*, sit" Doesn't take long before they know the single whistle means sit. From there just keep extending it.
If you plan on CCing you can "sit, *whistle/nick(at the same time)" , sit.

I am no dog trainer like Matt or Josh, but i found remote sit to be easy.

If you are talking about remote place while hunting, you just need a place marker of some sort, could be anything. Same as place training.

Sent from my LG-L38C using Tapatalk 2[/quote]my apologies Eric. I meant to say remote place not remote sit. Charlie remote sits great. Decided to teach him remote place late in the game. Cadee on the other hand is learning both
