It is strange, isn't it? The Dingo was the same way- a white poofball. How they turn into dingoes I have no idea. This is what that knucklehead looked like. I suppose mine will be the same.

This is by far the worst part for me. They are alive and well but can't be yours for another 6-8 weeks. I'm positive between my wife and I we drove the breeder to drinking in that time period with questions. Not that I'm impatient or anything.....
I felt the same way waiting for Cadee

Sent a video today, to show the pups are healthy and nursing well. And he wanted to send one last shot of them with their tails. As of now, tails are docked, dew claws are gone, and everything's moving along as planned.

That's what I'm counting on. I've left it 100% up to him, based off of the 3 page questionnaire I returned to him (he got a little more than he bargained for, there- I've been known to run off at the keyboard  )

Best way to do it. Breeder picked Taz for me, but you have to be honest in what you're looking for in a pup.

I was painfully honest. If he was going to change his mind about selling me one, that was the time. No shit, I really had paragraphs, down to number of retrieves, water conditions, weather, family, personality, lack of much upland, and so on. It was quite detailed, and he was still all for it, so I trust him to make a good choice.

That's good. I can guarantee he's not just trying to get rid of dogs. Chances are there are reserves on a waiting list for his dogs, incase someone backs out. Hes not struggling to get rid of pups.

He did say that since there were "only" 8 pups, there were 6 other disappointed guys.

Tails and dew claws are done. Curious to know which one I'll end up with.

Thats funny. I told my breeder- Which one would make a good hunter? He pointed at the one that was furtherst away. That one. She is always snooping into things and getting into trouble.

And I put a pink collar on Brandy at 6 weeks old so I could tell her apart from the rest. The guys kids were told not to pick that one up any more.

You could put a white collar on yours Jim

clearly more than the grocery bill for the humans who inhabit his home

They were toddler age kids that kept dropping the pups. Didn't want my dog dropped. They still played with her.

Here's the latest. Which looks pretty much like the first, only without tails. Noisy little bastards, they are, but still only 9 days old, so no personalities to see yet. My wife cringed in imagined pain when she watched this one. I'm heading up there on the 30th of July to pick up my dog, and it should be an "interesting" ride home. I'm gonna make sure I get the "vomit and shit all over the interior" protection plan from Hertz.
