Just got this pic of the very unhappy looking mama to be. Expected due date is within a week. She normally looks like Taz, based on other pics. Poor gal.

Not sure yet. He's going in for an x-ray on Wednesday. Last one was a c-section, but if it looks like they're lined up good (or whatever exactly they look for) this one's going to be normal from what he said.

Being the narrow ass I am one taco twelver and I'm showing signs of an upcoming birth.

He had to check and see where they were inside, because the last birth was a c-section. He doesn't want anything to happen to the mama.

Hell, he probably spent them just on the ultrasound.

Seriously, even I can't complain about the price of the pup. And that's saying something. I'm a bit on the cheap side.

You definitely can't complain, that's a solid breeding.

I suspect there will be a revenooer waiting out in Cumberland next to the highway when I reenter the state, waiting to charge me my MD sales tax, on a purchase made "out of state, but intended for use within the People's Republic".

Just got an email that the pups were born this weekend, but it was a touchy thing. The Dam had problems, and gave up pushing after trying all night Saturday night. Went to the vet, got a bottle of oxytocin, which only produced one pup per shot for 6 hours, then she was too tired again. She tried for three more hours, then went back for an emergency c-section for the last two pups. Revived the last two, and got them both going strong. He says they're doing well, but will need a close eye on the last two and the Dam. Fingers crossed. That had to be stressful.

Said the pups are "very vocal" and appear to all be very healthy and nursing, and Maisie has been up and about and eaten twice. I don't know enough about pups being born to know if this is sort of a standard problem, or if it was out of the ordinary. Looking forward to getting a pup, though, since this will be her last litter. Had 2 females and 6 males, for the record.

The unconventional birth is weird to me. It is not weird to have pups that are not as strong as others. Have many times handfed and warmed pups back to health, all turned out normal and lived healthy lives. My second britt I got when I was 10, basically brough him back to life. He was a runt and dad said I could keep him, other buyers were afraid of him. They fucked up, he was a stud.

In 3 weeks, you prob won't be able to tell which oups were having problems.

This is by far the worst part for me. They are alive and well but can't be yours for another 6-8 weeks. I'm positive between my wife and I we drove the breeder to drinking in that time period with questions. Not that I'm impatient or anything.....

Those pups look nothing like the mom, not even close.

Congrats daddy.
