Do a search on the other site, you'll get plenty of recommendations. One said simple green worked great, huh.

He doesn't really stink now, but better safe than sorry. The house sucked the spray in when she opened the door

This is basically what we used. Also had another mixture, with hydrogen peroxide in place of vinegar.

Dog is good. House is getting better...

Coffee beans and vinegar laying out everywhere.

Ha, not funny Joe! I used the mix with peroxide, soap and baking soda. Rub it in deep and let sit for a few minutes then rinse well, may take a few times. Beyond that, toughen up your nose, nothing completely removes the smell, only helps to make it bearable. Taz was sprayed twice last year.

It worked really well but you could still smell it a little whenever he got wet.

Happened to my dog a few years ago. Hydrogen peroxide and dish soap. Other then that to most you can do is wait it out. My dog would still smell slightly like a skunk for almost a year afterwords when he got wet and I gave him dozens of baths.

Sent from my phone.

I assure you, he still stinks quite a bit. Your nose just doesn't notice it anymore.

I've never minded a skunk smell before last night. I guess I've never been "close" to a spray. Up close, that shit is a whole new, nasty, burning, foul, ballgame...

I think Dan might be the only man alpha enough to piss the smell away.

Thanks for the tips boys

The Nature's Miracle didn't bother him at all? We always have that handy...

If you let him try that, he'd just end up killing your dog with 00Buck wounds to the head and back.

It didn't seem to bother his skin at all, he had no reaction to it. He was definitely bothered by the 2 dozen baths he got before that though :)

That's what I used. She just quit smelling when she was wet, and she got sprayed like 6 months ago.

I was the same way. When she got sprayed, we put her in the back pantry so she wouldn't get nailed agin my the skunk. By far the worst thing I've smelled when I walked into the room to get her 10min later.

Nothing would touch it. We turned a fan on for 2 days straight and let it air out.
