Tie rope on dummy like this

It's probably obvious why to do it this way but it never dawned on me until now.
Used to loop the rope and sometimes the dog would tangle up. Short piece of rope with a knot on each end.;)

I can throw 60-70 yarders with the loop all afternoon, using a south african technique. Can't do that with the knot method.
