They contacted me wanting to help expedite, I think but no. They basically asked for a check number and then asked me to go ask Beck's to say what day they mailed the check.
To me that says: Are you sure you paid? Go away kid, you bother me.

Make it up. "I asked Beck's- they said the check was mailed on September 22nd, 2013"

That leaves them with 3 options:
They can accept it as the date, and process it
They can accept the date, and say they can't find it
They can say "no it's not, it was mailed on the 29th", in which case you have your answer.

Either way, the ball is in their court.
