Olly what was the typical mood of the citizens you boarded?

I think I can answer that for Olly TK. I would guess that the vast majority of boaters are glad the USCG is on the job. We've only been boarded a few times when arriving from foreign ports and the CG guys were always very professional and pretty cool once they realized we were on the up and up. It's mostly the lawbreakers, asshole boaters, and merchant marine, but we don't show it so the inspections go as smoothly a spossible, that have a problem with the USCG fellas.

Like I said, I have never seen the CG in my life, its all new to me.

Our experiences for the most part have been pleasant, except they, along with the marine patrol, are a major pain in the ass while striper fishing off va beach. They're so worried about you fishing outside the invisible 3 mile line it's redamndonkulous.
Also had them come on board as we pulled up to the scales on a tuna tournament in ocean city. Wanted to see my drug card, I don't have a frug card. Why asks the coastie? 'Cause it's a private/mom charter boat and I didn't need a drug card.
Yes we caught a box of tuna. No, mr coastie, they are in fact not bluefin, they are yellowfin. Please learn your fish ID.

Mine didn't have the accutrigger, did some self modifications and went from almost 6 to a consistent 3.5# trigger.

I have a new 111. Those are good guns. Mine is chambered in 22-250.
