No. Government has the longer frame. My googlefu tells me it is for an officer size frame which is about 1/4" shorter and will not work with a government size gun.

Ah, was thinking government was smaller than commander for some reason.

Nope, Government 5" and Commander 4" frames are identical, Officer 3" is the shorter frame.

Had the names, government confused with officer for some reason.

I can't name 5 guys I know using Krone machines - conversely, I know 2 guys who run 45 Claas units between them.

I had been saving to buy a better band saw that would allow me to work with wood and cork body decoys when a co-worker mentioned he had one his dad gave him. Its a Ridgid 14" that from looking at it must have been hardly used, $100.00 bucks. That and a riser kit from Grizzly Tools that will give it a 12" cutting depth for a 100.00 saved me about 500.00!

Really? A lot of the BR shooters here have been switching over. I just watched a guy and his brother the other day shooting at 1000 yards. Both had Vortexs. The older one shooting a 6 Dasher put 10 under 5". The other one put 10 in under 6" at 1000 with a straight 6 BR. Not too bad I would think for a light gun.
