I did something similar on a little 16' bait boat years ago, and was amazed at how fast I could get on a plane. They will slow your top end down a little, but the benefit should outweigh the detriment.

Only recent lottery marsh teal hunt report coming to mind was from two N.O. guys who've hit twice and hunted with me while on this end for it. Last year they were to hunt WL on the last day and hunted with me the day before, so I don't know how it went. But their September 2016 lottery hunt the day before hunting with me was top shelf - and had me pretty worried about sucking wind by comparison. Envy you the experience but can't stand the notion of missing a day on my own, for better or worse, enough to put in for the lottery.
Given that Jay and Paul have hit two years running, it might be a fairly well kept secret. Anyway, I expect you'll love it.

My feelings exactly. I applied only once, and this was a few years back with no luck. I may try again next year. I just want to see what's out there, the hunting would be a bonus.
