Rainbow Teal
We already have had a very popular FB posting about a guy that saw wads of grays getting up from the shoreline of lake borgne. Yep, early grays, in first day or so of August, yep, definitely. Surely not families of mottleds so common to the area, nope, definitely not.

Good news. Especially the low waterMARSH BEAR wrote:We went to the camp this past weekend - we went in the marsh to finish the blinds we put in earlier in the summer. Saw about 3 groups of 8 - 10 blue wing teal. The water in our marsh is the lowest it has been this time of year for a long time.
The marsh grass around 5 of our blinds had to be trimmed so we can see the ducks. 26 days until Teal season - but who's counting.
