Looking for a back up gun-

I find it amusing that all of these high-dollar gun owners feel the need for a back up gun. Yet Boot and I, with our cheapo 870s don't feel that need. Wonder why?

This is my position. Sam outgrew his 870 youth 20. He'll be shooting my nova this year. But hoping to replace my super black eagle with another next year and hand him down my old one

For "cheap" auto that's what I'd do. Only problem in my mind on the 20 would be keeping 20 shells handy as well.

Though it's what I'd shoot if there were no Benelli, something that could make a Beretta suck as a "backup" gun is the safety placement, which will seem ass-backwards after shooting the Benelli.

During snow goose season, yes both are loaded.

I think it is here. But during resident goose, there have been known to be 2 or even 3 guns per head in the blind.
