Did you try it?

No I've never tried. I like to eat but don't like eating so much I feel sick afterwards.

There is a pizza place that sells a yard pizza (it's a yard wide). Before they deliver, they ask to make sure that you have a sliding door to get the pizza into the house. 4 of us order it often, and always get dominated by the pizza...

Lol. So you'll be ordering a pizza shortly. No wonder your blood sugar is all out of wack, munchies usually never ends in food that's good for you.

If you ever doubt that it's working, set it down and walk about 20 feet away for a minute or two. When I'm setting and trimming treestands, I know the exact moment when I walk outside of the "circle of death".

Yours looks a little differant than mine. Mine has a round knob to turn the gas on or off.

I think mine does, too, but I don't remember. I know its not black, though. Both the switch and the ignition are green. And I now have to push that sonofabitch about 84 times to get it to light.

You had me worried I got some knockoff so I did a quick search. It looks like there's 3 versions, yours with the knob looks the nicest. As long as it works the same I could care less. If I'd have known before though I might have made sure to get that version.

Have to let the gas flow a bit to build up before the igniter will work.

I've picked one of those things up a couple of years ago. I've experienced mixed reviews. I still bring it along time to time when I'm out at the property. But I still pack a bottle of Backwoods OFF no matter what. The Mosquitoes are So bad during dove and deer season you can't even imagine. :(

We followed the instructions, gave it 30 minutes and the bugs kept coming.

My guess is the scent from your feminine hygiene products probably attracted a larger number of Mosquitos than us men-folk are used to encountering.

Maybe try the unscented pads next time.

Actually I was the guy standing outside the range of the ThermaCELL, who had fewer bites than the guy using it.

So, I guess I'm truly the manliest amongst us or as Red would put it... WFF's Baddest Dude!

I got a chance to try it out today. It really didn't do much as I was walking but once we got to the fishin spot I put it on my tackle box and it made a very noticeable difference. If I left that area the mosquitos were biting, not so much near it though.
So far I'm a believer.
