just took the breasts off at 160 degrees and wrapped them. Won't get to find out how they are bc they're for my grandparents. The whole chickens are at 140-150 now almost time to come off and wrap.

Wrapped them and took them off to let them rest . No more cooking. They've been on for four hours Lmost bc I had trouble getting the heat up in the first hour. Not really sure what happened. But I suspect it's the cheap coal. Def gonna use kingsford and applewood chips in my first bbq competition.

try lazzari or any hardwood charcoal you can get your hands on
